Cyberflesh - Trenton, NJ. I've heard City Gardens was torn down. Sad sad sad, when I was a wee teen we used to go to all the cool shows there and now the kiddies don't even know the name City Gardens.

Screwy Louies - Kearny, NJ.

InSOMNiA night club, located at 535 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ has closed.
They had small shows, I've seen Apoptygma Berzerk, Modern English, Tapping The Vein, Seraphim Shock, and Spahn Ranch there.

New York

The Bank - East Houston st., NYC Defunct as of Sept 4 1999. Albion Saturdays have moved to Downtime and merged with Batcave.

Byzantium - Medieval, rennaissance, mystical, and magickal themes, features the fringier side of the "dark music" spectrum. The space is about the size of Pyramid NYC. Fridays at Now Bar (7th Ave South & Leroy st, NYC), Doors 10pm. 21+, you must have ID to get in. $5 with flyer. DJs Sacred, Aysha, Kerry Smith, & guests spin Electro-Medieval, Ethereal Dark Psychedelic, and Witchy Musick. Type of music to expect: QNTAL, Lycia, Legendary Pink Dots, Faith & The Muse, Enigma, Delerium, Dead Can Dance, Current 93, Coil, Black Lung, Diamanda Galas, Changelings, Black Tape For A Blue Girl, SWANS, SPK, In The Nursery, Laibach.

Equinox - Long Island. The last night was Sunday August 15, 1999.

Exedor - at Pyramid, NYC. closed for good, spring 1999.

Clit Club - A party for gay women and their friends closed at Flamingo Aug 17, 2001.

Coney Island High - St. Marks, NYC. closed July 1999.

Glitzern - Tuesdays 10pm-4am at ACME Underground 9 Great Jones Way between Broadway and Lafayette. DJ VoodooRu and guests, $5, 21+. More on the Glitter and Glam side of things. The occasional Bowie-esque band plays. Everything from Bowie and Danielle Dax to Christian Death, Alien Sex Fiend, Belle and Sabastian, Imperial Drag, Siouxsie, Brian Eno,etc.... Lots of Velvet and Glitter.

Heroes - formerly the monthly early 80s party at Mother, NYC.

The Interim - at Limelight, 6th ave. & 20th Street, NYC.
